The Service of Remembrance for Mr. Elroy Noon , age 94, of Beverly Hills, Florida, will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, August 17, 2009 at the Beverly Hills Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes with Pastor Gordon Condit and Citrus Masonic Lodge #118 F&AM officiating. Interment will follow at Fero Memorial Gardens, Beverly Hills, Florida. Friends may call 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Sunday at the Beverly Hills Chapel. He was born August 4, 1915 at Mercy Hospital in Hempstead, NY, son of Arthur and Laura (Denton) Noon. He died August 13, 2009 in Lecanto under the loving care of Hospice of Citrus County.

Mr. Noon worked for the State of New York at Jones Beach State Park for over 25 years, and as a Custodian for Crystal River High School and Oceanside, LI, NY. He moved to Beverly Hills, Florida from Oceanside, LI, NY in 1973.

Mr. Noon was a member of Oceanside Benevolent Fire Department, Long Island, NY; Citrus Masonic Lodge #118 F&AM, Inverness; Ocala Consistory of Scottish Rite; and Egypt Shrine Temple, Tampa.

Mr. Noon was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Josephine Sullivan Noon of Beverly Hills, son, Frank A. (Diane) Noon of Beverly Hills, daughter, Edna (Pedro) Cortes of Spain, 3 Grandsons, Kevin Noon, Michael Noon, Danny Cortes, and 6 Great Grandchildren, Kirsten, Arthur, Corbyn, Monica, Logan, and Drayke. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hooper Funeral Homes & Crematory.
