Mr. Richard Harold Heinzeroth, age 69 of Lecanto, Florida, died Monday, August 31, 2009 in Lecanto, surrounded by his family and is with his Savior, Jesus Christ.

He was born November 22, 1939 in Oregon, IL, son of the late Harold and Margaret (Godfrey) Heinzeroth. He worked in commercial construction as a heavy equipment operator. He moved to Lecanto, Florida from Byron, IL 7 years ago.

Mr. Heinzeroth was a member of Midwest Operating Engineers #150 and attended the First Baptist Church of Byron in Illinois.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Janice M. Heinzeroth of Lecanto; 3 sons: Rich (Jeannie) Heinzeroth of Brooklyn Park, MN; Robert Heinzeroth of Sanborn, NY; Randal Heinzeroth of Rockford, IL; step-son, Eric (Jen) Carlson of Byron, IL; step-daughter, Kirsten (Joe) DeHaai of Zionsville, IN; 2 brothers: Michael DeShazo of Lecanto; David (Judy) DeShazo of Chana, IL; sister, Shirley Ellis of Tulsa, OK; 2 half sisters: Linda of Rockford, IL; and Leta of Colorado; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a special aunt, "Sis".

Services for Mr. Heinzeroth will be held at later date in Byron, IL. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial donations to First Baptist Church of Byron, 205 N.
