The Service of Remembrance for Mr. James L. Cashman, III, age 66, of Inverness, Florida, will be held, 3:45 p.m.; Tuesday, December 1, 2009; at the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Home. Cremation will be under the direction of Hooper Crematory, Inverness, Florida. Friends may call 2:00 - 3:45 p.m. at the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Home.

He was born February 24, 1943, in Salem, MA, son of the late James and Alice (Croteau) Cashman. He died November 26, 2009, in Inverness, FL. He was a Realtor by trade and moved to Inverness, Florida from Salem, MA, in 1990.

Mr. Cashman was a member of the Moose Lodge, Inverness. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed boating, traveling and playing golf.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Cashman of Inverness, FL; 2 daughters, Kelly Orlowski of Beverly, MA and Rebecca (Karl) Hittinger of Maitland, FL; son, Gregory (Jimena) Carlton of Miami, FL; brother, Robert Cashman of Kennebunk, MA; sister, Nancy Freeman of Salem, MA; and 4 grandchildren: Jewelia Orlowski of Beverly, MA, Alan Carlton of Miami, FL, and Sofia and Blake Hittinger, both of Maitland, FL.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes & Crematory.
