The Service of Remembrance for Mr. Armand H. Carignan, age 89, formerly of Beverly Hills, will be held 11:00 AM Monday, December 7, 2009, at the Beverly Hills Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. Mr. Carignan died December 4, 2009, in Inverness.

He was born September 5, 1920, in Manchester, New Hampshire, to the late Walter and Rose Carignan. He moved to Pine Ridge from Bedford, New Hampshire, in 1988.

Mr. Carignan was an Electrical Technician with Verizon (formerly New England Telephone & Telegraph) and retired in 1985.

Mr. Carignan was a WW II veteran with the U.S. Army Air Corps, a member of the Knights of Columbus in New Hampshire and Beverly Hills, a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and enjoyed woodworking, reading and computer games.

He is survived by Tina, his loving wife of 65 years; son: Kenneth (Susan) Carignan, Manchester, NH; daughter Lillian (Tom) Yvon, Westfield, MA; 5 grandchildren: Anne-Marie, Jonathan & Melissa Yvon, Michael Carignan & Kristin Grimes; 4 Great-Grandchildren.
