Mr. Gary Lee "Butch" Truelove, age 65 of Lecanto, Florida, died Sunday, December 13, 2009 in Lecanto under the care of his family and Hospice of Citrus County. Born January 1, 1944 in Raleigh, NC, he was the son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Carter) Beaty.

He moved to New Jersey from Raleigh, NC where he met his wife, Maria D. Policare. He worked as a truck driver for Township of Ewing Road / Recreation Department and Chazz Matazz Formal Wear of Toms River, NJ before retiring and moving to Lecanto 5 years ago along with his family

Mr. Truelove was preceded in death by his wife, Maria D. Policare-Truelove. Survivors include daughter, Heidi M. Policaro-Kenney and husband, John J. Kenney, Jr. of Lecanto, FL; grandson, Nicholas Carlo-Kenney and granddaughter, Allyssa Leah Kenney, both of Florida; brother in law, Rocco J. Policare, Sr., and wife, Adele of NJ; nephew, Rocco J. Policare Jr., niece, Danielle Charney, husband, Todd and their family, and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family requests expression of sympathy take the form of memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, Citrus County Unit, PO Box 1902, Inverness, FL 34451 or Hospice of Citrus County, PO Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464.
