The Service of Remembrance for Mr. Harold Register, age 74, of Floral City, Florida, will be held 2:30 PM, Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. Interment will follow at Hills of Rest Cemetery, Floral City, Florida. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM, Thursday at the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. He died August 23, 2021 in Inverness, FL. He worked as an Automotive Service Manager for Suncoast Chrysler, Crystal Chevrolet, and Loky Mercedes-Benz. Harold moved to Floral City, Florida from Clearwater. Some of his favorite hobbies included fishing and building swing benches. Harold coached youth football for 20 years and was an avid football fan. He was preceded in death by father, Simon Register, and mother, Hazel Purvis. Survivors include loving wife of 52 years, Shirley Register of Floral City, FL, son, Harold Joseph "Joe" (Carolyn) Register of Floral City, FL, son, Harold Gilford Register, II of Floral City, FL, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hooper Funeral Homes & Crematory.
