McKenzie Judie McKenzie, age 81 of Hernando, Florida, died Saturday, May 14, 2022 in Inverness, FL. She was born February 12, 1941 in Detroit , MI, daughter of James Barringer and Ruth (Noble) Brooks. Judie worked in the Automotive field holding various positions ultimately retiring as an Assistant Manager. Prior to moving to Hernando, FL 20 years ago, Judie resided in Rockford, Illinois. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and the NFL with Rusty Wallace being her favorite driver and the Chicago Bears her favorite team. Judie was preceded in death by her father, James Barringer and she is survived by her mother, Ruth Brooks of Tavares, FL, daughters; Lisa McKenzie of Inverness, FL, Gerri (Kae) Jones of Saint Petersburg, FL, and Jaci (Tom) Clarke of MI, sons; Jeff McKenzie of Prescott, MI, and Terry (Sherri) McKenzie of Carlton, MI, sisters; Joanne (Mitch) Caudill of FL and Lou Anne Louise (Steve) Bungert, 11 Grandchildren: Alyssa Brzoska, Katelyn Brzoska, Ben Brzoska, Sam Brzoska, Nastasha McKenzie, Tashia Adams, Eddie McKenzie-Adams, Elliott McKenzie-Adams, Steven James Ryan, Joshua McKenzie, Jacob McKenzie, and 7 Great-Grandchildren, Jaden, Jacob, Adalyn, Charlotte, Kaleigh, Kevin and Cameron.
