The Service of Remembrance for Mr. Lamount Mellen Schneider, 44, of Citrus Springs, FL who died on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in Citrus Springs, FL will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 2:00 p. m. at the Beverly Hills Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. Lamount was born on October 10, 1977, in St. Petersburg, FL and was the son of Karen J. (Zieniewicz) Schneider and Richard A. Schneider. He loved ghost hunting and produced adventure videos which he posted on YouTube. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Schneider and his brother Enio Mellen. He is survived by his mother, Karen J. Schneider, his daughter, Brooklyn Mellen, his son, Lamount Steven Mellen, Jr. He is also survived by his two sisters, Charity Thomas and Dawn Mellen. The family asks that in lieu of flowers that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations in Lamount’s memory to a veterans organization of their choosing.
