MARGARET (Marge) HENRY Marge finished her courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday December 8, the feast of the Immaculate Conception. Our Blessed Lady Mary took her home in the Hour of Divine Mercy. Marge was born in Pestenacker, W. Germany on July 31, 1947. Marge came to the US in 1951 at age 5. She graduated from St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing in Passaic NJ in 1968. She mainly worked in Maternity Department from 1969-1974 at Clara Maas Hospital Belleville, NJ; Passaic General Hospital, Passaic NJ and 1976 at Riverside General Hospital, Secaucus. While in NJ, Marge held different positions as Assistant Head Nurse, Head Nurse, N/PP & Relief Supervisor. One of her passions was teaching and obstetrics. She was certified in Lamaze Childbirth Education, Birth & PP Doula (DONA organization) & infant resuscitation. She married Bill, the love of her life in 1969. They were married until his death in 2018. In 1995, they moved to Citrus county FL having relatives there. They fell in love with the area. In FL, Marge worked at Seven Rivers Hospital. In 1998 she worked at Ocala Regional Medical Center. As a result of having had friends deal with cancer, in 2005, Marge changed her nursing path to working in Citrus Memorial Hospice & Hospice in Marion County. In 2010, she returned to teaching childbirth and infant resuscitation at Seven Rivers Medical Center, now Bayfront Medical. Her passion was teaching, especially focusing on health pregnancy and delivery, helping moms care for their babies and themselves. She was a nurse from 1968, retiring in 2010. Marge loved traveling with Bill. They went to Canada, Italy, Greece, Turkey, France Switzerland, as well as taking cruises, one of their favorite was the Delta Queen Paddle. In 2004, Our Lady of Grace parish became Marge and Bill’s local religious affiliation. Both were active in various ministries/prayer groups. Bill led the Rosary in the Grotto til his death in 2018. Marge was active in Fatima Prayer, Ministry Fair and became a facilitator of the Centering Prayer Group in 2009. Marge attended Mass daily until January 2021. Marge was blessed by her relationship in Our Lady of Grace, “her church family”, by her many friends in FL & around the country. All of these, in addition to her family, have supported her by their prayers, meals, errands, cards, and so much more during her illness. She was predeceased by her father, Joseph, and her husband, William in 2018. She is survived by three sisters Gabriella Jaeger (Joseph) Elizabeth Vugrinecz (Patric Warnock), Cynthia Dembeck (John); brother, J. Anthony Vugrinecz; nephews Russell Jaeger, Gregory Jaeger (Kristin), Ryan Dembeck (Julia), David Dembeck; nieces Brittany Dembeck, Chloe Dembeck; grandnephews Spencer Jaeger, Liam Jaeger, Maverick Jaeger, Joshua John Dembeck, Kaleb Dembeck, Elijah Dembeck. A funeral Mass will be celebrated for her at Our Lady of Grace Church in Beverly Hills, on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 11am.
