The Service of Remembrance for Mrs. Mary G. Crum, age 87, of Lecanto, Florida, will be held 12:00 Noon, Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Beverly Hills Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. Interment will follow at Fero Memorial Gardens, Beverly Hills, Florida. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday at the Beverly Hills Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. She was born September 22, 1930 in Paragould, Arkansas, daughter of the late Louie and Lela (Barron) Gatlin. She died May 2, 2018 in Lecanto, FL. Mrs. Crum moved to Lecanto, Florida from Memphis, TN in 1993. She was devoutly religious and devoted to her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Crum was a former member of First Baptist Church of Beverly Hills. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Saltsman, and granddaughter, Shannon Saltsman. Survivors include two sons, Philip Saltsman, and William Saltsman, two daughters, Mary Parker, and Barbara Smith, and five grandchildren, Scott Smith, Jeffery Smith, Philip Saltsman II, Thomas Saltsman and Lauren Parker.
