William Scott Hooper Sr., best known as Billy, was born September 7, 1962 in Ft. Lauderdale. He passed away March 24, 2022 in Citrus Springs at the age of 59. Billy was deeply invested in the community as a roofing salesman of over 20 years. Billy enjoyed fishing, grilling and spending time with family. Surviving are his 2 sons: William Hooper Jr. and Nick Hooper; 3 daughters: Alexandria Hooper, Samantha Redding, and Chrystyn Albarado; Mother Eileen Pepper; 4 brothers: Derek Meekins, Michael Meekins, Chuck Meekins, and Wayne Hooper; 2 sisters: Kim Hooper-Valdez and Debbie Shephard; and 10 Grandchildren: Troy, Hailee, Raylinn, Aubrey, Harper, Kollin, Mia, Adrien, Edgar and Roman. The Service of Remembrance for Billy, will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the Beverly Hills Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. For family and close friends, there will be a Celebration of Life following the funeral service held at Central Ridge Community Center at 3:00 PM.
